NEW SEASON SWIMWEAR FOR A NEW LOOK
The onset of warmer weather may lift our spirits but it can also lower our self-confidence, especially when it comes to buying new swimwear.
Women are obsessed with their bodies, according to a report in the Daily Mail which covered a survey by cosmetics company, Garnier.Three thousand women between 18 and 40 were interviewed with the research showing that 7% thought about their bodies up to 50 times a day with 20% worrying about their shape ten times a day.
Stomachs were the least liked aspect of their bodies, followed by their rears. Forty six percent of women surveyed said they would prefer to be flatter and firmer around the middle with 20 per cent dreaming of a better-looking rear end. There was also widespread disatisfaction with other parts of the body, with 14% not happy with their legs, 10% not happy with their breasts and 4% desiring 'new' arms.
With all that in mind, it's hardly surprising that most women have an aversion to buying new swimwear.
However, there is one manufacturer who understands the market and who is making swimwear that fits and flatters. Perth swimwear company, Viva Swimwear, listened to customer feedback and designed new styles and shapes for the new season that will make every shape feel and look good.
Longer tankini tops sized from 10 to 18 with ruching on the sides to hide some of the midriff problem areas are among the new season styles. The new halter top has soft cups so that women can choose what level of support they want. These swim tops can also be used by women who’ve had mastectomies as they can insert their own pads into the halter cups.
New season colours include combinations of pink and brown, purple and black and the perennially popular black and white.Purple and teal are the new season colours for the chlorine-resistant swimwear range, which is always a hit.For the younger generation, there are new swimwear pants with tie sides and swim tops in all sorts of fashion colours and prints.
Viva Swimwear has also upgraded its website to include front and back shots of its swimwear range, so that onlien shoppers don't have to wilt under the bright lights of the change rooms. How's that for customer service.
Another popular look for the new season is to match swimwear with wraps or cover-ups.Create an elegant, fresh look with fashionable kaftans, dresses, tops and pants. And as every curvy woman knows, these are impossible to find in larger sizes, until now that is.The company keeps a wide range of wraps and cover-ups which are specially made, and which come in sizes up to 26.
The company is busy with several new developments, including a modesty range of chlorine-resistant swimwear for Muslim women and full control swimwear for the fuller figured woman.
With new season styles and shapes from Perth swimwear manufacturer, Viva Swimwear that fit and flatter, women no longer have to suffer from swimwear phobia.
